Microsoft vs DOJ - July 26th

It appears that in a joint agreement, Microsoft and the US Department of Justice have agreed on a timetable to fast track the anti-trust case to the Supreme Court. On July 26th Microsoft will submit its filing, and on August 15th the government will submit its filing, with Microsoft following up on August 22nd. The Redmond giant is expected to argue that the Supreme Court let the case be heard in a lower court first, due to past friendliness shown to the corporation. The Department of Justice will most certainly argue to have the Supreme Court pass judgement swiftly in the best interest of the nation. Stay tuned as the story develops.
