Bill Sounds Off

In a recent interview with RedHerring magazine, Microsoft founder Bill Gates sounded off against his Silicon Valley mates and the recent anti-trust troubles the company has had. While there was discussion of Microsoft's new .net strategy and the direction that the Redmond giant is headed for the future, the most interesting remarks spurred from the one question the magazine was allowed to ask Gates with regards to the DOJ.
An excerpt from the interview is as follows:
Gates:It will benefit some people. Some people will benefit. Let's be very clear about this. A few Silicon Valley billionaires will benefit.
Pontin: Jim Clark will benefit.
Gates: No, not Jim. Jim has already made [his money]...
Pontin: You mean Larry?
Gates: Larry Ellison, Scott McNealey, and Steve Case. I mean, those are the primary billionaires who have been behind this thing from the beginning.
Gates went on to further flame the government saying "No, no, no! Not dumb. Not dumb. This is worse than dumb. This is malicious." During the final part of the interview with Gates, he told the magazine that he feels that he and his company have done nothing wrong.
